A recent Tactical Medical K9 Handler Course for Law Enforcement Officers conducted by Valkyries Austere Medical Solutions & Consultants LLC located in Anniston, Alabama had 15 law enforcement officer K9 handlers who participated.
A few weeks ago, my Chesapeake Bay Retriever Bo spent throat and a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach, he ran to Bo’s the night with Craig Klein, his professional trainer, at his kennel after a hunt test. When I arrived to pick him up the following morning, Craig went to get him. In the same kennel section, he had five just weaned Chesapeake puppies and a Labrador pup.

Sadly, the California heat caused more fires and Bob and Deedee Caswell lost their home. They got 7 of their dogs out, but some were lost in the fire. Our thoughts are with Bob and Deedee at this tragic time.
