It started a few decades ago, when some Parent Clubs decided to do something to recognize dogs that achieved in multiple venues. Many clubs added Versatility awards to their annual member achievement awards. A few clubs decided to showcase that versatility as part of their National Specialties. That included the Weimaraner Club of America. A member of that club saw it, loved it, and she and her team brought it into the all-breed world as part of the Peach Blossom Cluster in Perry, Georgia.
If you are part of a multi-sport dog show cluster, you might think about adding this to your cluster, too. Imagine–a no-fee-to-enter event that people sculpt to fit their interests and their dog’s abilities. Here’s the text from the quarter-page notice placed in the Peach Blossom Premium List:
