Remembering Carlos Navarro
It is with great sadness and regret that we report the passing of Carlos Navarro of Mexico. Mr. Navarro was a respected international FCI Judge of All Breeds and dedicated and revered German Shepherd Dog breeder and fancier.
Carlos Navarro was involved with purebred dogs since his childhood. His experience with breeding and showing of German Shepherd Dogs spans over 50 years, with great success. Notably, he was the breeder of the outstanding German Shepherd Dog GCH Babheim’s Captain Crunch, “Capi”. Capi was a top dog in the United States in 2011 and 2012.
As a judge, he was approved as an FCI All Breed Judge in 1980. His judging assignments took him all over the world and to the most prestigious venues. In the United States, he judged a variety of breeds at the 2010 AKC Invitational show.
The Canine Chronicle extends our sincere condolences to his friends, family, and all of those who knew and loved him. We have lost a wonderful champion of purebred dogs.
